Crazy Time is a great twist on Dream Catcher, another popular online game show featuring a money wheel that was created by leading live casino game developer Evolution Gaming.
Betting on the Crazy Time wheel is simple. You must choose from the eight betting options: the four numbers (1, 2, 5, and 10) and four bonus games (Cash Hunt, Coin Flip, Pachinko, and Crazy Time).
Once your bets have been placed, the dealer spins the money wheel. At this point, an extra multiplier (ranging from 2x to 50x your bet) can be applied to one of the segments. If the pointer stops on one of the segments you wagered on, you win.
Your payout depends on the segment landed on and the size of the multiplier. If the pointer lands on one of the numbered segments (1, 2, 5, or 10), bets are paid out at those odds (1:1, 2:1, 5:1, and 10:1).
If the wheel lands on one of the other segments, winning players can play the exciting bonus rounds to boost their winnings even more!
In these bonus rounds, players can: flip for one of two prize multipliers (Coin Flip); shoot at a choice of targets to get an exclusive multiplier (Cash Hunt); watch a puck bounce off pegs and land in a prize/multiplier slot (Pachinko); or spin an even bigger money wheel for bigger prizes and multipliers (Crazy Time).

Below you’ll find a more detailed step-by-step guide to how to play Crazy Time live:
Choose from our list of recommended online casinos that offer Crazy Time live. Once you’ve registered and signed in, head to the dedicated “Live Casino” section and search for Crazy Time.
Load the game. You'll see your account balance and a range of different betting units along the bottom of your screen, from small denominations on the left to larger amounts on the right. Click or tap on the unit you wish to use in your wager.
Click or tap on one of the eight betting options shown towards the bottom of the screen: 1, 2, 5, 10, Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko, or Crazy Time. Each click or tap will place one of your selected units on that spot.
Note that you can bet on multiple spots each time, or all of them at once if you wish. The dealer will start to spin the wheel.
Once betting time is over, the slots at the top of the wheel will spin, revealing the betting spot that will receive the multiplier, as well as the multiplier itself, e.g. Coin Flip / 3x.
The wheel will come to a stop on a certain betting spot, and all players who bet on that spot will receive their payouts instantly – including any possible multipliers.
If the wheel stops on a bonus round, there will be a short break before the next spin as the bonus round takes place. This will affect the multipliers of everyone who bet on the winning spot – in the case of Coin Flip, Pachinko, and Crazy Time, everyone will receive the same improved multiplier. For Cash Hunt, each winning player has the chance to choose their own exclusive multiplier (more on this below).
Don't forget, you can use our Crazy Time live tracker and results to keep on top of Crazy Time stats to make your decisions. See below for more details on Crazy Time's fun bonus rounds.
Crazy Time's bonus rounds are what set it apart from other money wheel games, giving players a chance to boost their multipliers.
While most of the time a bonus round will result in an increased multiplier, it's also sometimes possible for the wheel to land on a “Double” or “Triple” spot, in which case the multiplier will be boosted further and the wheel re-spun.
Should this occur multiple times in a row, it's possible for the final multiplier to reach an incredible 20,000x for a huge Crazy Time payout!
If the wheel lands on one of the four Coin Flip spots the dealer will pause the action and move over to the special automatic coin flipper in the studio. A spinner will determine the two possible multipliers which may be won: one for red and one for blue. A special coin, one side red and one side blue, is tossed by a mechanical flipper, and all winning players receive the multiplier according to the colour shown by the flipped coin.
When the wheel lands on one of the two Pachinko spots, the dealer moves over to the special Pachinko wall. A puck is dropped into the wall, which is dotted with many physical pegs, and bounces off the pegs until it comes to a rest at the bottom, where it lands in one of several pockets labelled with multipliers. Winning players receive the multiplier of the pocket where the puck ends up. Note that if the puck lands in the 'Double' pocket the multipliers will be doubled (and doubled again if it lands there again, potentially all the way up to 10,000x!).
Landing on one of the two Cash Hunt spots launches a special mini-game for all winning players. A screen shows a number of different multipliers which are then covered with icons and mixed up, after which players aim their cannon to shoot a specific icon. Each player receives the multiplier of the icon that they shot, meaning payouts will vary from player to player.
There's only one Crazy Time spot on the wheel, and when it hits the dealer will pause the action to launch the special Crazy Time wheel. This is a much bigger wheel, represented virtually through colourful computer graphics which take up the entire screen. Players choose one from three coloured “flappers” and receive the bonus of the spot their flapper points to when the wheel stops. “Double” and “Triple” spots mean the final multiplier can be as high as 20,000x!
The table below reveals each Crazy Time score. Essentially, the higher the probability of a result being hit, the lower the payout. The probability of each result depends on how many spots there are of that type on the wheel, e.g. a result of 1 is more likely than any other result, as there are 21 spots for 1 on the wheel, but only 13, 7, 4, 2 and 1 for the others.
RTP stands for 'Return to Player' and indicates how much money a player can expect to win from a live casino game on average. The average Crazy Time RTP is 95.41%, although it ranges between 94.41% and 96.08% depending on which bet you make.
For example, the RTP for the 1 bet is 96.08%, meaning on average a player can expect to win ₹96.08 for every ₹100 they wager. Note that this is a statistical average, and in the short-term, players can win or lose much more or less.
Number | No. of segments | Payout | Probability | RTP |

1 | 21 | 1:1 | 38.88% | 96.08% |
2 | 13 | 2:1 | 24.07% | 95.95% |
5 | 7 | 5:1 | 12.96% | 95.78% |
10 | 4 | 10:1 | 7.4% | 95.73% |

Crazy Time is a true game of chance, but that doesn't mean there aren't strategies you can employ to maximise your profits.
Bet only on the numbers to allow you to easily cover 45 of the 54 spots on the wheel with just four bets, for an 83% chance of hitting a winning spot. Of your wins, around three quarters of them will see you lose money on the spin, while a quarter will turn a profit. However, with the slots reels occasionally adding bonus multipliers to your numbers, you can turn a profit more often than the basic math suggests.
Only bet on the four possible bonus rounds – 9 of the 54 spots on the wheel – giving you around a 16% chance of hitting a winner each time. This is not a great probability, but the potential for bigger multipliers means you could make a larger profit if you get lucky, and you'll never hit the very biggest prizes if you don't play the bonus rounds.
Adopt a roulette strategy. Popular strategies include the D’Alembert or Fibonacci. Some players favour the Martingale system, which requires you to double your bet each time you lose, so eventually you win your stake back. In roulette this is used on even money wagers such as red/black or odd/even, but in Crazy Time it can be used on numbers 1 and 2, which make up 34 of the 54 spots to cover over 62% of the wheel. However, we wouldn’t recommend the Martingale system as it can be very risky, and a losing run can see your wagers quickly grow to larger amounts than you’re comfortable with.
Bet exclusively on Crazy Time. This means you only cover 1 spot on the wheel, with a 1.8% chance of success on each spin. But while the odds of winning are low, the potential winnings themselves are the biggest in the game. It's not uncommon for players to use autoplay to make this wager a set number of times, or with a set loss-limit, so they don't miss a spin and don't have to continually replace their bets each spin.
Opt for full coverage. Betting on every spot available means you will win every time, but as it requires you to make at least eight bets on every spin, you will lose money each time it lands on 1, 2, or 5, which make up 41 of the 54 spots (76%). How much you lose will depend on the result, but can be offset by betting more on certain numbers. This strategy aims to slow down your losses while waiting to hit a big multiplier in a bonus game.
Crazy Time's minimum bets are usually just ₹10, which is relatively low for a live dealer casino game, giving plenty of people a chance to play.
Maximum bets are generally ₹500,000, but it’s worth noting that some casinos may impose a lower maximum bet/payout. This is because betting the maximum ₹500,000 and hitting the 20,000x multiplier would result in a win of ₹1,000 crore, which casinos are unlikely to want to pay out. All this means is that it’s worth checking the maximum bet limits and payouts at a given casino.
Crazy Time is the brainchild of Evolution Gaming, one of the very best live dealer casino game providers in the world.
Evolution Gaming had a smash hit on its hands in 2017 when it launched Dream Catcher, a game built around a large money wheel covered in different payouts and multipliers. Dream catcher uses a 54-spot wheel, just like Crazy Time, with payouts of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, or 40, plus a 2x multiplier and a 7x multiplier. When a multiplier is hit all bets stay in place and the wheel is spun again for increased winnings.
In 2020, a bright spark at Evolution Gaming came up with the idea of adding exciting bonus rounds to the wheel to create Crazy Time. It has gone on to become one of the most popular live casino games in India, and the world!
We love Crazy Time for many reasons, but we can boil it down to three big ones.
For one, it’s really easy to play. No one will be put off by overly complicated rules that require maths skills or strategies.
Secondly, the bonus rounds add a lot of fun and give out chances for massive multipliers! When Crazy Time hits and the entire screen is filled by the animated virtual wheel, it's truly something to behold. It's hard to pick, but if pushed, our favourite bonus round might be Cash Hunt, with the chance for each player to determine their own multiplier.
Thirdly, in our experience, the live dealers you get in a game of Crazy Time are often some of the best - walking around the studio, playing the bonus games and chatting to players as they go. The only downside is that the betting time can be rather quick, so there's less time to chat while you're focused on placing your wagers.
You can play Crazy Time for real money at many top online casinos in India. Sadly, you won’t be able to play Crazy Time in demo mode, but you can check to see whether your chosen online casino offers a bonus or promotion to help stretch your bankroll further.
The live casinos listed on this page also offer fully optimised mobile sites should you prefer to gamble on the go.
One of our favourite live casinos offering Crazy Time is Casino Days. The operator offers a generous first deposit bonus of 200% up to ₹1 lakh, plus a ₹500 free bet. The free bet can be used across live dealer games such as Crazy Time and comes with a small 1x wagering requirement.
